5-day challenge to improve the Edify website, a real estate investment startup.

We were a team of 4 people who developed this project during our UX/UI design bootcamp at UXER School in Madrid, Spain. 

How could we create a product that unifies the entire real estate experience for investors?

  • Unified process with all procedures from a single platform.

  • Fast process: saving time for the user.

  • Safe process control from the computer.

  • Transparency and clarity in the "numbers" (costs, investment, €...)

  • They invest in buy to rent and colivings.

  • The buying process is the same as a private individual who buys to live (but they pay special attention to the numbers).

  • Simplify the process of buying and reforming real estate.

  • They have to talk and communicate with dozens of people to buy a house.

Oportunity

Create a solution with a simple and fast process. Real-time information and relevant data for each specific investor.

Inverter only present at critical moments.

Visual simplified design with little text. Add calculators to show transparency in numbers and security.

Crazy 8's

We sketched eight distinct prototyp ideas in eight minutes. Then, we voted for the most we liked.

Solution Sketch

Once the three crazy 8's screens have been voted and validated with the client, we have defined the functions of each one.

The main screen will have several filters that allow only the corresponding properties to be displayed.

The reservation screen will have an added button that will allow you to reserve the property before buying it.

On the reservation screen a modal appears that explains to the client the details of the reservation and what percentage he will have to pay to confirm his reservation.

Prototyp

Edify's Feedback 

Through our meeting with edify to present the project, the conclusions have been positive.

We have succeeded in adding a reserve button by paying a percentage since it can favor the purchase. In fact, the edify team was already developing this tool.
